After receiving an offer from Jackson State this summer, you better believe Morgan Thornton Morgan Thornton 6'0" | SG/SF ESTEM | 2027 State AR was going to have a strong start to the season. She moved up 23 spots after this latest update.

In a much-needed win against Parkview, Thornton had a phenomenal game, posting 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Before that, the junior guard posted 19 points and 8 rebounds in the victory over Russellville. She had another 25-point game against Cabot in mid-November.

Early on this season, Thornton has shown that she can score in a variety of ways. When she is going downhill in transition, she can get to the basket, or she can rise up and knock down a runner while maintaining control. She can also step out to the 3-point line and drain any shot she likes, then go to the other end of the floor and force a turnover.
