About Mya

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Mya will do anything it takes to win. She has a high IQ and feeds off of making the right play. She can score the ball but won't put scoring ahead of making a pass with a better percentage shot. She has an elite skill set of ball handling, shooting and passing with lateral movement to guard any ball handler 94 feet. She can rebound well and has a knack for getting to the basketball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Mya is an outgoing player who achieves her goals when she puts her full focus into it. Despite setbacks, she makes the best out of the challenges and continues to grow and learn from them.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

A-B Honor roll - 2023-2024

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

From basketball, I’ve learned to communicate and work well with others. I have always learned to receive and give directions.

What type of college are you looking for?

Mya is looking for a college that will be a great fit not just basketball wise, but a great fit for her art career. She hopes to find a school that will get her to the art career she later desires after college while still maintaining her college basketball career.
