Taylor used her size and strength to establish position inside, posting up and making herself an easy target for finishes around the block. She was equally strong on the glass, battling through multiple opponents for rebounds and showing good body control to adjust for a putback after securing an offensive board. She also showed awareness after rebounds, including a long outlet pass to a teammate and getting herself into scoring position as the play developed.

For Nova it’s all about staying healthy! Nova is starting to prove that she is a consistent interior scorer and rebounder and does well as an interior defender. Played all summer mostly as a starter on a good PSB team. This high school season Nova looks like she will have a defined role on a team that can compete for another state title. A player that can have good stretches where she can dominate games in the low post, and she has the potential to be a good recruit in the front court in the 2028 class. 

Nova recently participated in Towson’s Elite Camp, where she had the opportunity to show off her game and was named the 2028 3-on-3 MVP. She plays very strong around the basket and does a good job backing defenders down to establish position. From there, Nova can score with traditional post moves like drop steps while also mixing in short turnaround jumpers.

Taylor’s size and length make an impact on both ends of the floor, especially around the basket where she establishes strong post position and finishes through traffic while keeping the ball high. She plays with great patience, flashing to open space, attacking out of triple threat, and using fundamental footwork to create scoring opportunities from the mid-range and inside. Defensively, she protects the paint, contests shots, and uses her court awareness to alter or block attempts.

Taylor is a physical interior presence who creates scoring opportunities around the basket. She establishes strong position in the paint by flashing to open space, sealing defenders, and using proper footwork in the post to finish efficiently, whether on reverse layups, post moves, or low-block touches. She also contributes on the defensive end by boxing out, rebounding, and protecting the rim with timely shot blocks.

Taylor knows her role and executes it accordingly as she occupies space in the middle to score around the rim. She has great size and uses her body to dominate inside with her post moves and rebounding. She shows strength and dominance on both offense and defense, making her a tough matchup.

Nova uses her strength to her advantage inside, establishing position in the post and playing physical “bully ball” when she receives the ball down low. She finishes effectively through drop steps and strong interior moves. Defensively, she makes a major impact as a shot blocker and rebounder, consistently controlling the paint on both ends of the floor with her physical presence.

Nova is at her best on the block with her back to the rim, where she consistently establishes a strong seal to secure entry passes. Once she catches, her quick footwork stands out, allowing her to spin effectively and create clean scoring opportunities in the paint.
