Expert Analysis
Avi Burmenko | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Nova uses her strength to her advantage inside, establishing position in the post and playing physical “bully ball” when she receives the ball down low. She finishes effectively through drop steps and strong interior moves. Defensively, she makes a major impact as a shot blocker and rebounder, consistently controlling the paint on both ends of the floor with her physical presence.

I really liked the effort from Nova in the She Got Game Classic. She ran the floor consistently and was a go to weapon scoring on back to back buckets on multiple plays. She was solid with her back to the basket, backing down defenders and getting to her sweet spot for the finish. I assumed she may have had some limitations from an injury because of her knee brace, but she moved well with fluidity getting to her spots on offense and moving laterally on defense.

A powerful and strong post player that dominated the paint. Nova used back to basket moves to score easy buckets. She was a true force when rebounding the ball. She also showed she could block shots. At times it appeared she was a head and shoulders over her opponents in the physical part of her game. A true center at the next level.

Didn’t play last season but she has made all strides to get back on the court this summer playing up on the 17U PSB team. Has great size at 6’2 and is a good rebounder on both ends of the floor. She will be a much welcomed piece and needs to be productive for a Manchester team looking to make its fourth straight appearance in the state championship game.

Didn’t play this season but she has made all strides to get back on the court this spring and summer. Has great size close to 6’2 with good length and a good rebounder on both ends of the floor. Right now her projection is best on potential and upside and it’s there. She will be a much welcomed piece for a Manchester team looking to make its fourth straight appearance in the state champion game!
