. Mya is a complete guard and an elite shot creator. She is really crafty, a great finisher, a highly skilled ball handler, and she doesn’t get affected by contact. She is a good passer, and she is active defensively. Mya is a terrific rebounder for a guard, and she could be the best public school guard in Loudoun County. Mya had a few big-time performances in key spots this season, and she finished first team all-state in Class 4.

was terrific for Woodgrove and was by far their biggest source of offense in their overtime regional final loss to Heritage. Mya showed her deep bag of moves, driving to the rim, and she had an assortment of finishes through contact. She had a nifty euro into a lay, and she had another finish where she fought through contact in mid air for an and 1. When she fouled out, you saw Woodgrove struggle to get any sort of shot creation, and it ultimately lost them the game.

Good in the open court can find ways to get to the basket with her quickness and size. Looks like a true 50/50 combo guard can play both positions at a high level. Can finishing at the rim with her frame she able to finish through contact. Good playmaking ability can effectively get her teammates involved running offensive sets. Had a productive season with GLP last spring and summer!

Mya stayed active in the back court on D to pick off inbound passes and convert baskets. She got crafty on offense snaking through the lane and making tough layups look easy vs Dinwiddie.
