Mya is the unsung hero for her Farragut squad! You will see Johnston guard the best player on the opposing team numerous times. It doesn’t matter if Mya scores 2 or 12 because her defense puts her in a class of her own. Yes, she is good at getting to the rim, but her defense is truly impressive. Michael Jordan said it best, “You can’t win a championship without defense.” If Farragut moves on to win a district championship, you can credit Johnston and the team’s defense!
