Fritz continues to have a huge senior season! Yes, she led her team in scoring and she willed them to victory. Braxton knocked down numerous 3 points shots. You can’t leave this one open! She continues to cover an entire stat sheet. She contributed numerous deflections, steals, assists, and rebounds. I loved the reverse layup and finishing the old-fashioned 3 point play! Congratulations for being named on the District 3-2A All-Tournament Team! I’ll reiterate that Maryville College is getting a good one!
Moses is a point guard that seems to always be poised! She is a tough defender that is definitely ball savvy! If you are looking for a reliable guard to run your team, you can find that in Jonna. I was impressed with the composure and style that Moses plays with. She is a young guard with an extremely high ceiling!

Delilah Reed
Delilah Reed
At times, it was like Reed could not miss a shot! Despite the loss, she led all scorers with over 20 points. She scored numerous 3’s and was automatic in the lane. It was no surprise that she was part of the District 3-2A All- Tournament team! I added this freshman to my All-Freshman team! I hope no one else is late to the Reed party!
Harrison is a special talent! If you want a point guard that can do it all, she can. I love the way that Zoee can change speeds and directions! Harrison continues to show her amazing IQ and court vision! She’s an elite defender and she creates opportunities for teammates and herself! Harrison finished the night with 11 points, numerous assists, steals, and rebounds! Keep your eyes on this young star!!
Is anyone surprised that Hodge won the tournament MVP? I wasn’t! Natalya is one of the best players in our state! She continues to find ways to win! On a night where she went to the line and made 8 free throws, she did what she was supposed to do, make them count! Natalya led all scorers with 16 points! Congratulations on MVP!
It’s simple, Patel should have more offers! An extremely talented 6 footer that has a beautiful 3 point shot! She shoots it at a high percentage too! Yes, she is blessed with size & length and she knows how to use it to her advantage! Don’t wait on recruiting Patel any longer!

Edwards continues to impress with her footwork! When she gets on the low block, she maneuvers exceptionally well! She’s a great rebounder! Jada led Maryville with 15 points in the game! I’ll reiterate that Freed-Hardeman is getting a good one!
KJ started off hot before she cooled down in the second half! McNealy finished the game leading the Farragut team with 12 points! If she didn’t finish with a double-double, she was definitely close! McNealy drilled in three 3 pointers in the first half! This young athlete is one you are going to see at the D1 level, but first, enjoy covering her high school years!
Johnston finished the night with 6 points. However, Mya took on the tall task of guarding Hodge all night. We have spoken about her defense numerous times now, and she did a great job again! Mya has caught the eye of numerous people because of her defensive effort. One thing that we all agree on is, if she wants to play at the next level, she could! An uncommitted senior that can definetely be a great asset at the next level!

Allie provided her team with numerous extra possessions by being strong on the boards. Gillies had numerous offensive rebounds on the night! This guard is a fun one to watch because you know what she is bringing every time she steps on the court. You never have to question her effort or what she brings to this good Cookeville team! One of my favorite quotes by Pat Summit, “Offense sells tickets, defense wins games, rebounding wins championships.”
Taniah Dirkson
Taniah Dirkson
Players often hear, “Be an MVP in your role.” Dirkson was an MVP on defense and she did exactly what was needed of her. She is a prime example of how to be an MVP in your role! Yes, she has standout teammates like Garcia, Hudson, Cara Lee Gilbert Cara Lee Gilbert 5’3″ | PG Cookeville | 2026 State TN , etc. Dirkson was another important piece! This Cookeville team is District champs! This team definitely earned this one!
Mullins truly was a do-it-all athlete! She scored 13 points in the first half. Keely has a beautiful floater and mid-range game! Mullins was able to drive and get to the rim numerous times throughout the game! She knows exactly when to stop and pop! She’s also a good defender! A solid all-around athlete! I love the duo with Mullins and Ellie Butler Ellie Butler 5’9″ | SG Livingston Academy | 2025 State TN !

I was not surprised when I read that Adison scored 22 points in a win over Claiborne. She made 7 threes! Yes, you read that right; SEVEN! The young guard can fill up an entire stat sheet fast! Congratulations to Adison on being named to the All Conference Team, All Tournament Team, and The Underclassman of the year! Well Deserved!
I love watching the frontcourt on this White County team! If you aren’t recruiting Jones & Reed, what are you waiting on? Jones is a true rebounding machine! She is an excellent rebounder on both ends of the court! White County is an all-around great team! Jones can battle down low with anyone, and she understands when to kick out to the awesome sophomore guards; Bella Winningham Bella Winningham 5’7″ | SG White County | 2026 State TN , Clark, and Grasty! Did I mention that Jones is an excellent shot blocker? Ava is one of the best shot blockers that you will find in our state! Keep your eyes on Jones and the rest of this White County team! A huge congratulations to Ava for winning the All-District Tournament MVP!
