Depending on what program you are in and the path of your individual journey, you might not play a ton of varsity as a freshman and that is perfectly ok. Someone that is doing a great job of playing the minutes they are given at the JV/Reserve level is Mya Sawyer Mya Sawyer 5'7" | PF Omaha Westview | 2028 State NE of Westview High School. Sawyer is only out of the 2028 Class and she competes at the PF position. Sawyer is a beast. She understands to play physical ball under-near the hoop, she knows footwork, she knows what moves work in what situations, and she works really hard defensively to hold her own in every moment of the contest. Over-time this is a player that could turn into a solid CG or even SF, depending on what skills she works on. It’s really up to how determined she is and what he goals might be looking into this Spring.
