About Nancy

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a friendly, energetic person, but I lock in when it’s time to compete. I can get quiet or in my head sometimes, but I’m very coachable. I ask questions, make connections, and always want to learn and grow. I also try to keep a “next play” mindset and not let mistakes get to me. I always hustle and make sure to encourage my teammates when I see they’re in their head.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During Middle and early high school, I went through many personal challenges that affected my motivation for basketball while playing AAU . Over the past few years, I committed to rebuilding myself mentally and physically. I trained on my own, started asking for support from loved ones, stayed disciplined, and rediscovered my passion for the game. I'm now more focused, and mentally tougher.
