One of Iowa’s more underrated prospects, who is committed with the 17U Missouri Phenom – Iowa team is Natalie Ramsey Natalie Ramsey 6'0" | SF/CG IC - Liberty | 2026 State IA and she has put together two impressive games to start her weekend. Friday night and on Saturday afternoon, Ramsey made her presence felt by scoring the basketball and rebounding at a high rate. The two things that she really excels at on the basketball court with her mixture of size and athleticism. She is someone to keep an eye on moving forward. You can’t teach size and when you pair her speed and length along with it, you start to see how she could be really impactful whenever she is out on the court competing.

The Varsity season that Natalie Ramsey just put together is one that she should be proud of. She helped lead her team to a successful year, while putting up some big time numbers in the process. Ramsey is a big piece to this teams “puzzle”, if you ask me. She is another prospect with long arms, athleticism, and knowledge of the game. If she can be put in situations with her back to the basket, other teams are going to be in a lot of trouble. When looking at this roster, they have a “three-headed monster” in the middle with the players that they could have on the floor all at one time. This means that Ramsey is going to find herself in a lot of 1v1 situations because if not, someone is going to be wide open and Ramsey/their other bigs can make that pass out of a double team. Last AAU season Ramsey was injured so I never had a chance to see her on the road but that all changes over these next few weeks.

This was the first season that I really had a chance to dive in, seeing what Natalie Ramsey‘s game is all about and I was impressed. Ramsey has size, skill, and a great head on her shoulders. She stands at around 5’11 and moves really well for that size. She is relentless on the boards when going for the basketball but in a calculated way. She understands her own ability and because of that, she finds a lot of success. She isn’t the type to make things overcomplicated or to force any action. She lets the game of basketball come to her and it works out. I’m excited to see what Ramsey can do this AAU season on the road but no matter, it doesn’t change the fact that she was a top producer for her Liberty High School team these past few months. There is a lot of promise to build on here and I’m excited to see where she can take things as she gets older.
