It’s the time where we see new faces in new places, new groups joining together, and a whole lot of action as it pertains to high-level basketball throughout the country.
In this article, we highlight a team that is not new to the AAU scene but they are new to the State of Iowa. Missouri Phenom EYBL is a program with a lot of rich history. This season they have worked on branching out into new territories and in this case, that’s in Iowa City. This roster is one that has players coming together from all over the state to compete under the Missouri Phenom name. This group is a mixture of 2027’s, 2026’s, and 2025’s all competing at the 17U level. Don’t get it twisted though, even though this team is going to be have a good amount of prospects playing up, I fully expect them to dominate most of their matchups this Spring/Summer AAU season on the road, no matter who their opponent may be.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

KeaOnna Worley KeaOnna Worley 5’4″ | PG Prairie | 2027 State IA is going to be a prospect that will be playing up two grade levels this AAU season but I still think that she is going to be one of the best floor generals that we will see. Worley is the top ranking PG for her 2027 Class throughout the state of Iowa and she is hoping to bring her talents to this Missouri Phenom program in attempts to make a big statement this AAU season. The statement being that she is a D1 collegiate-level PG, who can come into a program and make an instant impact. She did that this past high school season with her Prairie Hawks team and I’m expecting the same over the next few months. She is a prospects that can do it all from the PG position, whether that’s scoring from any offensive level or creating havoc on defense. I’m excited to see what she can put together these next few months. If it’s anything like I’m expecting, she is going to kill it.
Highlights
Emily Larsen Emily Larsen 5’11” | SF Cedar Rapids Prairie | 2026 State IA is another player that comes to this Missouri Phenom program in hopes of starting something special to build on moving forward. Larsen is someone with size, coordination, skill, and smarts. Her best ability is her versatility on the floor and how she can be moved around to several different positions, depending on what is being asked of her. She is the type of player that I would personally put in a ton of screening situations offensively because of her mixture of size and athleticism. She moves really well and she has the knowledge to know when to seal compared to rolling to hoop. Defensively, I’d say she is just as important to her team’s success. She has the size to stay with bigger opponents or she can switch and stay in-front of a quicker guard. I’m expecting her to put together some quality games over these next couple of months. She certainly has the ability to do so, she just needs to go out and make it happen now.

Madi Meyer Madi Meyer 5’10” | CG IC – Liberty | 2026 IA is someone that has been continuously getting better as she has gotten older these past few seasons. Meyer is a prospect that I would consider a “glue” type player. She isn’t going to kill you by scoring 40 a night but she is going to make her presence known because of her effort and dedication to the game of basketball. She is a player that brings positivity to the floor, no matter the situation, while always being on of the first to dive into the stands of a loose ball. Don’t get me wrong, she has some skill too but I think she brings more than that table. Every team needs an energy source that can keep their teammates going and I think that is the perfect definition of Meyer’s game.
The Varsity season that Natalie Ramsey just put together is one that she should be proud of. She helped lead her team to a successful year, while putting up some big time numbers in the process. Ramsey is a big piece to this teams “puzzle”, if you ask me. She is another prospect with long arms, athleticism, and knowledge of the game. If she can be put in situations with her back to the basket, other teams are going to be in a lot of trouble. When looking at this roster, they have a “three-headed monster” in the middle with the players that they could have on the floor all at one time. This means that Ramsey is going to find herself in a lot of 1v1 situations because if not, someone is going to be wide open and Ramsey/their other bigs can make that pass out of a double team. Last AAU season Ramsey was injured so I never had a chance to see her on the road but that all changes over these next few weeks.

I didn’t see Asia Beale Asia Beale 5’8″ | SF Cedar Rapids Prairie | 2025 IA compete too much this past high school season but when I did see her, she made somethings happen. Beale is a player with better than average size, skill, and coordination. She is a Guard, that can create her own off the dribble or she can square up, knocking down a jump shot every once and awhile. On a team and within a program that is going to thrive in transition, I think that Beale could be a consistent producer for her team. She does too many good things to not see the floor and once she subs in, she usually does a great job of showing her worth almost right away. She always displays strong drives to the basket and she isn’t afraid to mix it up with any bigger opponents. If she can find her niche on this team, I’m expecting that she put together a rememberable AAU season but we will just have and see.

From everything that I have seen, Janessa Mosley Janessa Mosley 5’7″ | SG Liberty | 2025 IA is a player with a lot of raw talent. More times than not, she is displaying that she can handle her own matchup while being a willing passer to the others around her. Mosley would be considered a Combo Guard at this point in her career with the ability to play the 2, 3, or 4 spot at any given moment. Whenever a new program is starting up, there are a lot of questions that need to be answer but I think that in general, this program is in a great spot. They have a head coach in Aaron Meyers who understands the strategic part of the game and how to get his players in a position to be successful. If Mosley can make the most of her opportunities, she is going to put together a really nice Spring/Summer season in total. She isn’t going to be the prospect that gets double or anything like that so she is going to have a lot of opportunities throughout the duration of a ball-game.

A huge pickup for this program is Quinn Vice Quinn Vice 6’3″ | PF Pleasant Valley | 2025 State IA of Pleasant Valley High School. Vice, a 6’3 Forward, has length and natural grit whenever she takes the floor. She is a prospect that plays with an edge, while always keeping her emotions in control, no matter the situation. Vice is coming over from All Iowa Attack AAU and I think it’s a great move. She is already committed to compete at Drake after her high school career comes to a close so now we are at the point where she just wants to win while expanding her personal play-style. This is a classic situation where you can’t teach height. Being 6’3/6’34 is going to vital in some of this teams contests this AAU season. If she can stay disciplined and stay down on pump fakes, she is going to EAT on the defensive side of the ball, while producing on offense on a consistent basis. Like I said, this team has a monster in the middle with who they have brought in. If those players have any sort of a connection, other teams are going to be in TROUBLE.
Highlights
Another top ranking player out of the 2026 Class that will be joining up with this Missouri Phenom group is Forward, Cora Widel Cora Widel 6’1″ | SF Maquoketa | 2026 State IA . Widel is a lefty with a lot of promise. She is very good at using her long arms to create within the half court. She displays an impressive shooting stroke, being able to knock down shots from all three levels offensively. She has demonstrated over the past few months that she is going to be a high end recruit out of her Class, while producing on both sides of the floor at the Varsity level. If she can start to attack using her right hand, as much as her left, she is going to be a very hard individual to stop on the hardwood. Both at the high school varsity level and at the collegiate level one day. In this offense, these Forwards are going to thrive off of each other and I can’t wait to see it first hand.

Damia Clark
Damia Clark
Damia Clark is a player on this roster that is going to surprise a lot of potential recruiters over this AAU season. As of most recent, Clark is coming off of a year where she was an Honor Mention in her conference with her Davenport North Varsity team. Whenever you have individuals that are future Power 5 players on roster, it can be hard to stand out but Clark held her own this high school season and she is prepared to do the same this Spring. Clark is a Guard with a balanced shot form and a lot of strength to pair along with that. She isn’t the tallest player on the court at any given moment but she does play bigger than her size. Just like I’ve been saying with everyone else on this team, if she can be put in situations where she can be successful, she is going to have an AAU season to be proud of with the Phenom.
