Niki put her stamp on Saturday night’s game for Full Package 17U 3SSB, turning in an impressive, complete performance. She was a menace on the defensive end, closing out hard on the perimeter to swat shots, while also using her length to block shots away in the paint. Niki worked hard to secure rebounds on both ends of the court. She snagged an offensive rebound and showed off her athleticism by making a great dump-off pass in midair for the assist. She slashed through the gap on a determined drive and dropped in a soft floater over the help. Niki was dialed in from beyond the arc, swishing threes from the corner, slot, and the wing. She pivots quickly and maintains her balance to fire with precise accuracy. Niki anticipated passes to create steals, then pushed the ball with pace to dish out assists in transition. She stood out during the PGH Great Lakes Region Finals.

If you’re a college program and you’re looking for a player who can guard both of the guard positions and be a real threat from three, then Davorija is a player you need to keep track of this spring and summer. She has the length to cause problems on the perimeter, but can also track her matchup down and get a block at the rim. Offensively, she can get it done on the rim attack, but her confidence from beyond the arc is clear.

Davorija has the skillset that can blend in with any program, simply due to her size, length, and versatility. She can be the main focal point, an off ball scorer, or a playmaking piece that can still change the outcome of the game. She has strong vision, a very solid handle, and the overall IQ/awareness to be dominant in whatever role is needed of her. Strong upside.

Davorija has the length and the ball handling of a top tier type of point guard. She has no issue going one on one if the possession needs it.. but she also has a sharp sense of awareness that allows her to be a go to playmaker as well. She’s one of the few players in this class with multiple D1 offers, and when you see her play, it’s not hard to understand why. A name to watch over the next couple of years.

Niki came out of the gate with a big East offer as a freshman and has had eyes on her since. She’s one of those players who could get better at the next level, because her game is so simple and adaptable. She has the length and the attitude to have a long career in this sport.

Niki was one of the first players in this class with a D1 offer, and her frame and length were key to that. However, what she provides on the defensive end of the floor is key to why her potential is slated as high. Offensively is where she’s working on, and that skillset runs in the family, so I’m sure she’ll figure out how to take full advantage of her frame on that end very soon.

Not too many freshmen can say they have an offer, let alone a P5 one. Davorija hangs her hat on her ability to defend at a high level, with her length as the main attribute behind it. She has quick hands, solid footwork, and plenty of aggression to match. Excited to see how she develops over the next couple of years.
