Expert Analysis

Brea was very productive for Full Package 17U 3SSB at the PGH Great Lakes Region Finals. Her impact on Saturday helped the team have a very successful day. Brea demonstrated great court vision and ball-handling command. She made extra passes on the move that created wide-open looks for teammates. Brea made an underhand shovel pass for an assist, knocked down a contested jumper, and transferred the ball smoothly to her left for a layup. She sprinted in to secure offensive rebounds, finished putbacks with strength at the rim, and knocked down free throws confidently at the line. Her length generated steals on the defensive end and closed driving lanes. Brea buried shots in the mid-range off the catch and the bounce, while adding a triple from the corner in rhythm.

Brea has jumped on the scene as a player to follow in the AAU season. She has the energy, the motor, and the ability to crash the boards at a high level. From an offensive side, she can be your slasher and your court spacer. Coaches should definitely be keeping an eye on her throughout the next couple of months.

A lengthy forward who doesn’t need the ball in her hand to make things happen. She moves in a way that keeps the game flowing, stays active on the boards, and brings a ton of energy on the defensive end. You notice her impact in the little things first, especially in the passing lanes. She has a lengthy but strong frame and a soft touch around the rim, and she seems to have the confidence to knock it down from beyond the arc as well.
