One of the stronger post players in this class. McAllister is a problem to guard in the paint, and when you can track and catch entry passes as well as she can, you can be sure she’ll make something happen after the catch. One thing that will continue to separate her is the midrange and outside shooting that she shows confidence in, as well as her ability to put the ball on the floor. She’s mobile with a soft touch around the rim.

When it comes to defensive awareness, McAllister stands out. She has a good feel and solid instincts when it comes to making something happen on that end of the floor, and she stays active throughout possessions. She does a good job reading the ball, being in the right spots, and using her physical tools to create disruption. The offensive package is still growing, but when you have the frame, the motor, and you’re in a program that emphasizes development, she’ll get to where she needs to be soon. The tools are there, and as the skill set continues to catch up, she can become a player who brings real value on both ends.

Lucy finishes inside with pressure consistently!  She focuses on catching the pass and uses the backboard to finish!  Nice job getting her shoulders square with the basket. Gives an easy target hand for guards to throw in to. Does a nice job protecting the paint defensively!

Every program needs a player that can be counted on defensively, and McAllister provides that safety net. She can cover the whole paint with her length, and also shows awareness in the passing lanes. Offensively, the skills are present, and as they sharpen. Fenwick will have one of the best ’28 duos in their conference.
