Willoby has been trending upward this calendar year for LCS. They often post her up as a match up problem on the block. As she’s too strong for guards, while too quick and explosive for forwards. Is also tough to handle as a driver too, with spin moves and other ways to attack the rim. The next step in her game is clearly to improve her three point shooting. as As the defense was playing heavily off of her from three. She took a few open jumpers with confidence, but didn’t connect. It was notable on one such attempt, her follow up through was crooked instead of straight.

Joining Stewart as an all tournament representative for LCS. The sophomore averaged 10.3 points for the tournament. In the title game, she proved how tough of a cover she is as an athletic and strong mismatch. Opened her scoring in the title game with a nifty reverse layup off an inbounds pass. Then continued to showcase her unique combination of power and agility. She’s a fantastic sign of the amazing depth the defending 4A champs have. As when she checks in she attacks the rim with similar aggression as their outstanding starting five.

Only a sophomore, Willoby is already strong and tough. She’s making the transition from more of a front court prospect, to a mismatch causing wing. Looks too quick for taller opposition, while too strong for guards. It’s good to see her skillset growing and staying true to her physical talents. Because she’s also on the glass in the video. The 918 prospect is an exciting name to keep tabs on in the Class of 2028.

Explosive athlete. Who carved out an important role on one of the best teams in Oklahoma, the Class 4A champions Lady Bulldogs. It shouldn’t be a shock that Willoby thrived on a talented team, as she’s a natural athlete who is also a standout in volleyball and track. On the court, she plays taller than her size thanks to her leaping ability and strength. Also a fluid mover, she runs the floor hard and crashes the glass on both ends of the court. Early days, with lots of room to grow; the arrow is pointing straight up for an unique athlete.

A recent social media post by Willoby likely indicated that a gut feeling of “she might be too low” would be correct. She may spend the year backing up a quality front court, but the athletic Willoby will make a big impact. In Lincoln Christian’s first game, she poured in a quick 15 points. The highlights from Hudl that she posted to social media painted a picture of an impact post scorer, good footwork, soft touch and either hand scoring. Along with the athleticism to snatch rebounds. It’s a luxury for the 4A contenders to bring in the already strong and athletic Willoby off the bench, especially if she’s hitting from distance.

An unique prospect, Willoby is strong and quick off the floor around the rim. This allows her to block shots and rebound well. She also looks comfortable putting it on the floor and attacking with good speed and nimbleness. Already looks to be very strong as as a finisher, should be a mismatch problem at the high school level. Even hit a triple in the clips from earlier this summer.
