Johnson truly does have the capability of playing 1-5 on offense and defense depending on their team’s matchup. She is at her best as a guard. With her size and IQ, she maneuvers around the floor well. Johnson knows when to attack open space and how to create space if need be.

Johnson can score at all three levels on the dribble and is an extra dynamic scorer in the paint. She can make reverse layups with ease as well as contested interior shots.

On the NB circuit, highly-touted All-American girls were neutralized by Nyla. They weren’t even a shell of themselves. This kid makes it hard for opponents to operate and loves every minute of it, doing it with a smile. She’s a stone-cold killer offensively. One who can attack downhill or shoot from the 3 at a consistent clip. She was over 50% from the arc in the last session in July. She has a nice crop of D1 schools looking for her commitment. What I will tell you about her is this: you are getting a selfless servant leader willing to do whatever it takes to help her club win.

Holy cow! This kid’s stock is skyrocketing. For those who weren’t in the building in Chicago, this kid brought the house down. Shot 50% from 3, averaged over 23 ppg. It wasn’t that she was scoring at a high clip; it was her ability to lock up top-notch kids from other programs and put them in the box. For those who don’t know, she is the ultimate teammate, willing to do whatever it takes to win. She does all the little things right and then some. From making hustle plays, dishing the extra pass, bringing energy, effort, and celebrating her teammates, one of the most classy kids around just keeps picking up next-level opportunities. Keep tabs on this young lady because she’s only going to get better.

Steady as they come, this kid is tough on both ends of the floor. A fierce competitor who wants to draw the tough assignment,  she wants to guard the other team’s best player. She’s an old-school throwback kind of player who thrives off competition. She frustrates people like no other. As soon as her opponent catches the ball, she’s on them like glue. Her offensive game speaks volumes as well. She had a great tournament, not only scoring well in basketball but also showcasing her defensive ability to create chaos. She’s going to be a steal at the next level.

She’s a standout in this league and one who will get plenty of looks at the next level.

She’s a heady ballplayer who knows when to exploit an opportunity or pull back and run something more effective. She knocked down shots from all 3 levels yesterday. Her ability to contribute on the offense and then turn around and defend really did pique the interest of collegiate coaches.

There are some rumblings around recruiting circles that this young lady is going to have her breakthrough. A stingy ballplayer who gets after it on both ends of the floor. She is a 3-level scoring threat who can put the ball in the hoop off the catch-and-shoot or off the bounce. Defensively, she is solid, creating chaos and making her opponent work. She’s a heady ballplayer who makes the right reads and is impactful in multiple statistical categories. Her stock is rising, and coaches are taking notice.

This kid just has an all-around game. She has the “it” factor that draws people in. She is a heady ballplayer who is a top-notch defender. She makes plays, pure and simple, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get the ball for her club. Her offensive game continues to grow as she can dial it up from deep and get to the rim. She plays selfless basketball, making the right reads that lead to advantageous shots for herself or teammates. Coaches are calling, and this young lady will be a nice addition to any program.
