A hard-working kid who has added to her game like no other. A kid who started on the block has done nothing but expand her range. She can finish around the rim, knock down 3s, and exploit the high post. What I love about the game that she added was her ability to handle the basketball. She’s always looking to attack and can do so starting out on the open floor coming off a rebound. She puts up numbers, a kid who is always getting after it on both ends. Look for her to have a solid senior season and be someone to keep eyes on as a sleeper for a program at the next level.

Long and rangy low post player who can stretch the floor. A hard-working individual who has added to her game. A kid who can use her size to power through opponents on the low block, but also utilize her speed as she catches the ball on the perimeter and goes straight towards the rim. She’s expanded her game, adding a 3-ball and a nice middy to her arsenal. I love her ability to defend by holding her ground and making it tough for opponents to score. When she is long, it’s hard for anyone to get a clean look. Not a finished product, this kid continues to evolve and establish herself as a prospect hailing from the 931 area. Look for her to compete this upcoming season and become a solid prospect for coaches at the next level.

Had multiple games with double-doubles. She battled down low against some pretty stiff competition. She showed her versatility by defending at a high level and scoring in the paint. Whether attacking off the dribble or playing with her back to the basket, she was no stranger to the net, as her teammates found her countless times, and she finished down low. Look for her to continue to grow and be a solid addition to a program at the next level.

Channing Jones Channing Jones 6'0" | SF TN is definitely a player who could be one of the bigger rank risers going into her last season of high school hoops.

Jones is a standout defender. The combination of her speed, long strides, and long arms allows her to cover a large portion of the court at the SF position. This results in Jones getting tons of defelections and steals. This past season against West Creek High School, Jones had six steals.

Jones on offense has dribble skills that have noticeably improved from a year prior and a solid 3-point shot. Jones on defense also provides the versatility to play some on the interior. Her height of 6’0″, along with good lateral speed, plays into this.

This kid is about to hit a turning point, transitioning from prospect to someone who has helped put their school on the map. Blessed with size and length, she competes with high energy on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she was physical, grabbed boards, and ran the floor well in transition to establish herself in the paint. Offensively, she was great with her back to the basket, as well as facing up and going to work. I loved her demeanor on the floor as she competed until time was up. This kid is going to help Kirkwood take the next step. Look for her also to be a name not only in the Clarksville area, but one that you will hear over the next few years.

Channing Jones Channing Jones 6'0" | SF/PG Kirkwood | 2027 State TN had one of the most intriguing games out of every player at the event. At the #93 spot, she has a huge chance to rise in the ranks in the upcoming high school season.

At the TN Expo event, she showed great versatility on the offensive end. She has a crossover that covers a lot of ground and has a smooth jumper for her size at 6’0″. On the day, through both five-on-five and three play, she made multiple threes and had some crafty buckets around the basket.

On defense, Jones is an elite defender. Her arms are incredibly long, and that, paired with her foot speed, was giving opposing players problems all day at the event.

Hard working kid who can not only score the basketball, but impact the game in a multitude of ways. I love her ability to rebound, block shots, and defend. Then when it comes to the offensive side of the ball, she is going to score, stretch the floor, and get O boards. She competes every time she steps onto the floor. A solid prospect who is on the upswing.

A versatile player who has great size and speed. She is a hooper who can knock down the mid-range jumper. She can face up or get down and exploit the low block area. Defensively, she controls the boards and blocks shots. Any old school true hoopers remember a guy named Stromile Swift for the Memphis Grizzlies? This kid’s game is a lot like his. A solid ballplayer who has great size and length, who can be a true disruptor. 

Possesses great size and length, this kid can score it from all 3 levels. Has such quickness that enables her to contort her body against contact to finish at the rim. Mid-range, short corners, she’s on point from those areas. Big in the rebound game and of course blocks shots. I love how she can get up and down the floor and teammates hit her in stride for easy transition buckets. This kid is on the upswing. As her confidence grows, look for her game to explode as well.
