Nyla Mason Nyla Mason 5'8" | SG Brush | 2028 State OH has a complete offensive game already as a sophomore that rarely can be stopped! Brush heavily realizes on the sophomore to score and she did not disappoint at the 2026 Classic In The Country Challenge! Finishing with 25 points, she makes it look easy scoring as an underclassmen. Mason finished with five three-pointers and five free throws in the game versus Mount Notre Dame! She is lethal on the catch and shoot as well as in the pull up game! I have continued to be impressed with her ability to just make the decision to take over the game at any given point in the contest. Mason’s offensive game has very few holes and teams have to completely formulate their defensive gameplan around stopping her! There is a reason that Nyla Mason Nyla Mason 5'8" | SG Brush | 2028 State OH continues to grow and rise up the 2028 rankings!

Mason is the type of player where you need multiple defenders on her- she comes out hungry and is relentless on both ends of the court! Ultra high energy on defense with the same fire on offense! She puts on a clinic with scoring- great shooter from outside, creative around the rim! Special player! (Below with ball)

Like her older sister, Nyla makes a nice leap in the latest rankings, and there’s a good chance that she’s not done. Flashy, a playmaker with the ball, and she does the little things to make her team successful. Super impressed at how poised she is, and she is a key component to Brush’s continued success. She rises up to #16 this quarter!

She uses her quick hands to steal the ball and take off down the floor. She can drop dimes with her eyes closed and makes it look easy. The opposing team finds it difficult to keep her from reaching the rim and making baskets. She is really good at cutting, slicing, and finishing in traffic, but she will also make three-pointers from beyond the arc. She can score points and is a bucket from any angle. Uses the glass and follows her shot. With her strength it allows her to get to the rim and score through contact a lot of times resulting in and one’s. She makes a HUGE jump in the rankings all the way off the watchlist to number 25!

Those who guard Mason have a rough time from stopping her from going to the rim and scoring buckets. She is excellent at slicing, dicing, and finishing in traffic, but you also can’t leave her alone from a distance because she will knock the three-pointer down even beyond the arc. From whatever angle, she’s a bucket and can score points. If the game is on the line, you want the ball in her hands! She has the athleticism and skills to take her game to the next level.

Opponents, If you bring the ball anywhere near Mason- she’s gonna take it away and score before you even realize what happened! Fantastic with slicing, dicing, and finishing in traffic- but you cannot leave her unattended from deep either! She’s a bucket from anywhere!
