South County and West Potomac played in one of my favorite games of the week in the Patriot District Semis. Olivia hit a handful of mid-ranges, and she did a great job creating her own shot. Olivia competed on defense, and she hit a huge three to tie this game with less than 10 seconds left. She had a nice game in West Potomac’s blowout over Alexandria City as well.

had two 20-point games this week to lead one of the best teams in NOVA to a 2-0 week. As I said in the past, Olivia is this team’s engine, and a lot of what they do offensively starts with her. Olivia had 20 in a win over South County, then had 21 in a win over Woodson. These are two great district wins for a 16-1 WP team.

West Potomac kept up its winning ways, staying undefeated after beating a good Gainesville team. West Potomac always has a balanced attack, but Olivia seems like the engine and initiator for this team. Olivia has great quickness and shoots the ball well. She does a good job running the offense or playing without the ball. Olivia finished with 21 points in another double-digit win for West Potomac.

Olivia has a great handle and is a fantastic driver. She defends well and is great in transition with her finishing ability. Olivia moves well without the ball and is the motor for a great West Potomac squad.
