The two-time Big East third team selection is an intriguing prospect I have been looking forward to catching. She has shown good speed with the ball in transition and an ability to knock down shots in traffic and from the perimeter. Getting a good look at her quickness on both ends of the floor is among the things I will be eyeing.

Wahwassuck proved her mettle in the scoring department through a difficult 5-16 2024 season. Averaging 8.2 points, she brings size to the guard position that enabled her to log more than a blocked shot per game. Playing a pile of games over the summer has certainly helped her strengthen her overall game. Returning an experienced and athletic roster with one of the top centers in the league (Athena Broaddus), a key for Panther success will be for Wahwassuck to substantially improve her three point (25% – 30/139) and free throw (41%) shooting as well as number of trips to the line.
