With an amazing wingspan, Baker plays much bigger than her listed height. Which also makes her among the best shot blockers in the class. Capable of swatting shots at the rim, or even getting pieces of shots when hustling after quicker guards. Another important aspect of defense is rebounding to end possessions, and Baker also excels at cleaning up the glass. While she is still refining her offensive skills, the impact she makes on the defensive end is undeniable. The Lady Eagle is ready for a big sophomore campaign.

A power forward who is making the transition into becoming a small forward. Great length and athleticism make this 2028 a player to watch. In the Expo she showed the outside shooting ability as well as the skill set to attack downhill from the wings.
A defense specialist in the paint that could lead your team in block and rebounds coming from the small forward position. It is the development on the offense end of the floor combined with the already tough defense that could have coaches taken notice of this 2028

I am not sure you can call a player who is ranked #2 at her position a ranking riser but this young lady performed Saturday. Long athletic that can jump out of the gym. The difference between last year as a freshman and the sophomore I saw Saturday is night and day. Power forward has improved her game in all area that she honestly can play that small forward position. Open floor ball handling off the rebound pushing up the floor with vision was nice. What makes her a tough match up is the outside shooting which is more of a threat this season.
Outstanding defensive player that understands to rotate on defense. The jumping ability added with a long wing span allowed the guards to pressure them to know the shot blocker was protecting the rim. Remember the name as she will be a key player for the Lady Eagles as they make their run for the Gold Ball

A 2028 that came on the scene last year to myself during playoffs. I would list her a that perfect slasher forward spot for those Oldtimers. Meaning she can knock down the mid-range jumper but she is going to get majority of her points on cuts and putbacks. The type of player that get your team points without running any set for them. Great size and athleticism make her a tough match up on team that runs a 4 small guard offense. Tough defender that can block shots and get you 10 boards a game.

A long lengthy forward that impressed me with the defensive presence she played with all weekend. Great help defender that blocked several shots on rotation. Tough on the passing lanes creating steal opportunities for her and layups for her team.
On offense moved nice off the ball reading the defense cutting to the rim for easy buckets. Good offensive rebounder scoring on several putbacks. The ability to knock down the 3 allowed ot attack weak closeouts for layups. A 2028 to keep an eye on this summer and next school year.

The freshman has made big strides throughout the year, and made a couple eye popping plays on the defensive end. She had a chase down block that made great use of her long arms and athleticism. Also covered smaller guards on the perimeter and even had a nice pick pocket steal. Offensively, she can score around the rim but overall is raw. Still with her physical traits and defensive moments, the upside is very high for Baker.

Long armed and athletic freshman, part of a very strong Class of 2027 and 2028 core for the Lady Eagles. Bit of a utility player now, did a good job running the floor for scores, and finishes with a soft touch around the rim. Hit a 15 footer as well, seems to have potential to grow into a consistent shooter if she’s putting in the extra hours. Clear upside to be a top tier defender, who also finds spots to score on offense.

Hilton-Baker was cooking on both ends as she’s a “long and athletic” guard who got to the basket with ease. Her body control was nice on her finishes, she showed UPS to not only rebound on both ends but to block shots but her timing also made the defender change their shot, she even deflected a few. She followed her shot, that’s a#THROBACK and she played the passing lane
