The Pewaukee forward has all the tools to be an effective and versatile piece of a frontcourt. Petzold is comfortable with the ball in her hands, can make reads, and space the floor as a perimeter shooter. However, I liked that she was more willing to be physical around the basket on both ends of the floor, and in one game I watched, she powered through contact to finish in the paint.

Few players have come through the state as frontcourt prospects with the tools Petzold has. She is a rangey player who can defend around the basket and has shown she can finish with both hands when given the opportunity. She is also comfortable spacing the floor and knocking down shots as a floor spacer. What we see from her now may also be the tip of the iceberg, as she grows into her frame over the next few years, she could take another step forward.
