After a freshman campaign at Tecumseh, Bays is fitting in naturally as a sharpshooter and disruptive defender. She thrived on the open looks her teammates created. Her gravity as a sharpshooter will prove very beneficial to Dale this year. More than just a three point weapon, she helped out with the handling duties as well. Very promising sophomore combo guard.

Bays torched the nets as a freshman for Tecumseh. Then was impressive as a sniper and skilled scorer off the bounce with Team Oklahoma during AAU play. She uses her deep range to set up attacking off the dribble. Capable of draining stepbacks, while also being sneaky effective off the bounce. She plays at her own pace on drives. Has a spin move that could become her signature. While also having good overall footwork to create space in the mid-range for pull ups and for floaters. Her scoring production might take a step back as she transfers to 2A contender Dale (her original school). But her timely scoring in key games, could be the key to helping the Lady Pirates capture gold. After they have came up short in the semifinals and finals the last two years.

Combo guard that can play the point position with a high basketball IQ and great poise with ball in hand. The outside shooting ability gives her the option to play off the ball as well. The flex ability gives a coach the option to have two players that can play point guard in at the same time. Strong step back moves off the dribble creates the space needed for a smooth step back jumper. Showed good vision in the full and half-court game.
Transfer from Tecumseh where she earned All-Conference honors as a freshman returns to Dale where she played junior high ball. The addition gives Dale several players that can handle the ball in a up-tempo style

Bays has the bonafides as one of the better shooters in Oklahoma’s loaded Class of 2028. She hit her fair share of threes today, while also breaking out a nifty spin move on drives to the rim. Along with producing off the ball, she’s comfortable and smart when getting off the ball and moving to openings. Good signs of Bays refining her all around scoring skills. Setting the stage for her to continue to fill it up over the next three years.

Silky shooter, who took the Canadian North River Conference by storm. Has DEEP range from three, needs to be picked up soon after she crosses half court or she will pull with accuracy. Has a concise and quick shooting motion, requiring little separation in order to hit from distance. Textbook, repeatable form that easily generates enough power to hit from near the volleyball line Very impressive shooter and very productive start to her high school caereer.
