Some typical league games for her included 20 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals, and 20 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals in the two games against Tillamook. Bruney is a serious candidate for 4A state player of the year and has led Astoria to the #1-spot in the state, so she will absolutely be one to watch this postseason.

In the most stacked conference in 4A, Olivia Bennett Olivia Bennett 5’0″ | SG Cascade | 2026 State OR and Cascade are fighting for their path to the postseason. Bennett is an incredibly gifted scorer with a beautiful, lights-out shot and an elite ability to finish, and she is extremely scrappy on the defensive end. She hit four huge 3-pointers in a narrow loss to Philomath to finish with 12 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist; and had 17 points, 4 steals, and 2 assists in the recent win over North Marion.
