FINAL RANKING #8- She moves up inside the top ten after an incredible season that saw her second in Ohio scoring close to 27 per game with 11 boards. She became a member of the 2,000 point/1,000 rebound club. Can score at all three levels, good three-point range, slithers in the paint and elevates to score. Excellent shot blocker and great basketball IQ. Turned down several D1 offers to play at Cumberlands, which fit her personal needs.

Her senior year was magical, as Peyton became a rare member of the 2,000 point/1,000 rebound club, and did it from the wing position. She can score from anywhere with great elevation and a smooth midrange shot. Also can score from behind the arc, is a force on the boards and her wingspan allows her to defend in the paint. She averaged 26.3 points (second best in Ohio), 11 rebounds and shot 85% from the line. Turned down D1 and D2 offers to attend Cumberlands, which fit her personal needs. Peyton has been selected as the Ohio Division 4 Player of the Year. (Feature photo, courtesy of John Coffman Photography)

Peyton is putting together a bigtime senior season, averaging over 25 per game. She has a very good and consistent shot from the outside, elevates in the paint for her shot better than anyone I saw and rebounds at a high level. Also a proficient shot blocker. Heading to Cumberlands as a lot of D1 schools missed this one.

She has been recovering from a knee injury but is back and ready for the new season. Committed to Cumberlands, the Top 10 ranked 2025 in Ohio will continue to score at will. Can knock down the 3, gets downhill and super athletic frame allowing her to score in the paint. Long and lanky, great rebounder and active defender.

It was another great season for Mounce as she saw her production increase, along with her skillset. She is such a great athlete she is able to get past her defender and score at the rim. Explosive first step, great body control and able to elevate and score. Outstanding passer with great vision. Peyton can push tempo and finish.

Inching her way up to #7 is a guard who can score on you in all three phases of the game. One of the more complete players in Ohio in her class and it would be hard to find a better athlete. Peyton can drop the threes or put the ball on the floor and get through the defense to score. Very long and lanky, averages a double-double this season with 22 points and 11 boards per game. Just a complete player who also can defend, plays in the passing lanes well and her athleticism allows her to create for her team.

What a performance for the Top 20 2025 guard, as Peyton dropped 38 points with 17 boards and 10 assists in a big win against Dayton Belmont. In that game, Mounce also scored her 1,000th career point. One area coach told me how much better she has become as she has gotten stronger and more physical, but still has her smooth touch and active defense.

Mounce has seen her game grow from the first time she stepped onto the floor as a freshman. She was the Player of the Year in her league as a sophomore and has added to her arsenal. She is a smooth ball handler and her size creates a mismatch problem. Her length allows her to create issues defensively and she may be the best athlete in Ohio in her class.

Peyton was mentioned as the top player returning this season, and it is a wide margin to #2. Mounce is a scorer who can beat you either with a drive to the rim, or can connect from long range. Peyton averaged 18 points per game last year with 12.8 rebounds and nearly 6 assists per game. She has the complete package with good handles and is very athletic. (feature photo above)
