. Tritz is a college commit and a heck of a Point Guard. Her play-style would be labeled as fast, controlled, and efficient. She moves quickly with everything she does but she also has intent behind all of her decisions. She never does anything on the court where I question her motives or what she was thinking. I can always see where she was going with things or the idea of a play, even if it doesn’t happen work out. Against North on Friday, Tritz led her team in scoring with 17. This group also had 2-3 others in double figures but the most vital was Tritz. She led her team by example from the beginning and that’s why her team won.

may not be new to the basketball scene in the state of Nebraska but she has recently committed to play at the college level and is gearing up for an important Senior season ahead. If you have seen Tritz play for more than 5 minutes, you can tell that she is a game manager out there on the floor. She orchestrates her teams offense every possession, while playing with good pace and tempo individually. When it comes to her defense, she is pretty active. She usually guards the other teams fastest guard and does a good job of keeping them in check. This winter is going to be interesting for myself as I really dive into the girls high school game in Nebraska. From what I’m seeing so far, there is a plethora of high-level talent ranging across the state, Tritz currently being in that conversation.

Peyton Tritz is a quick point guard who can handle the ball, control pace of a game, distribute to her teammates on a consistent basis, and defensively is one of the best guard defenders I’ve seen on the ball in a long time. Tritz has shown some really nice talent this past high school season and she is looking to carry that momentum into her Spring/Summer sessions with her Nebraska Attack UAA 17u team. She is a guard that displays a smooth scoring ability against other high level competition. One of the best parts about her game is that she spreads the floor and can still impact a contest without the ball being in her hands a majority of the time. Like I mentioned above about her defense, this past high school season I saw that she recorded right around 19 charges for her team on the year, a very impressive number that displays how intelligent she is while protecting the hoop. Keep Tritz on your radar. She has great energy and a solid game. She should be making some big waves this AAU season.
