Preslee has performed multiple roles throughout her high school career. Early on she was more of a scoring threat, but as a Junior she was asked to play more of a facilitating role and manage a game. Then, as a Senior, she stepped back into a big-time scoring role and proved she could put up points in a hurry from all areas of the floor. She is a tough-nosed, reasonably strong, and athletic kid. She competes every possession, and she will get after it at the defensive end of the floor as well.

A year ago, Preslee acted as more of a facilitator and traditional point guard, playing alongside Indiana All-Star Zoe Stewart. But with Stewart’s departure, Preslee has stepped into a much bigger role offensively. She is a nice North/South athlete, she plays with a solid motor and some toughness, and she has some physicality to her game. She has taken her 8.8 scoring average as a Junior and extended it to 18.6 points per game as a Senior. She can also really shoot it outside, she rebounds her position well, and she’s an effortful and somewhat versatile defender.

Preslee isn’t as regularly known on a statewide level because she goes to school out near the Western border to Illinois, plus she has played for a predominantly Illinois grassroots team throughout her career. However, she is a strong, tough-nosed, and fairly athletic combo guard who can do a little of everything. She has shown the ability to initiate/run offense, and she can create off the bounce. She is an assertive downhill driver, plus she can bury an open rhythm jumper. I also like her tenacity at the defensive end of the floor.
