Roberts has always impressed me with her shooting from mid to long range, yet one thing I love is “on the court ” progression. Her “on the ball” pressure has gotten better, so has her playing the passing lane, but seeing her rebound and go coast to coast and see the floor in transition was nice as well

Roberts has always been able to shoot the ball, so watching her create and drop under pressure has been a treat for me, with a hand in her face. She also gave me the catch-and-shoot to go with blowing by defenders and scoring off the dribble. I told her how impressed I was with her “on the ball” pressure as it has shot up, plus she played the passing lane

Roberts is turning into a “nightmare to defend” primarily because of her ability to score both from mid to long-range as well as attacking off the dribble. Her range has gotten deeper yet she patiently sets the defender up and takes “good shots” aka as playing within herself however her court vision and ball handling have also gotten better under pressure and on the flip, she’s applying more heat defensively

Roberts has started her high school career showing exactly what she brings to the table on the offensive end and since she understands how and when to set the defender up, she has put up numbers multiple times. Her mid to long-range game is solid, well her range is getting deeper yet she is also attacking the basket from the wing, with either hand and scoring after contact

Roberts has improved her game from just being known as a 3 point shooter to somewhat of a “nightmare to defend” scorer and here’s why. She has the handles to attack off the dribble, with either hand, yet she also has shown she can finish with either, after contact because of her body control. Don’t get it twisted, range has gotten deeper, she’s dropping it off screens as well as showing the “catch and shoot” plus her court vision adds more to her impressive set of skills
