Whenever we have seen success out of Pella Christian the past few years, we have also seen eye-opening numbers from their top producer – Rachel Kacmarynski Rachel Kacmarynski 5'10" | CG Pella Christian | 2027 State IA . Kacmarynski is a CG at 5’10 with length, athleticism, and natural play-making ability on and off of the basketball. She covers a lot of ground in a hurry moving down the hardwood and she always produces in one way or another. Against Chariton on Saturday, Kacmarynski did whatever she pleased throughout. She scored (21) near the bucket with her strength and size, she out-rebounded (19) everyone else on the floor, and she led her team in total assists (5). A performance like this is nice to have but now it’s onto the next opponent. The Playoffs are a marathon, not a sprint so they can’t sit and dwell on it. They need to keep it moving, which I’m sure they will.

Rachel Kacmarynski Rachel Kacmarynski 5'10" | CG Pella Christian | 2027 State IA is demonstrating all her effort this season and those efforts are correlating to big numbers on the stat sheets. Kacmarynski isn’t the tallest player at 5’10 but she competes like she is 6’1 with how often she is working the glass. Not only is she working the glass, she is finishing whenever she offensively rebounds the rock and she is out-letting whenever she grabs it on defense. Kacmarynski is leading her Pella Christian team in PPG (12.5), RPG (12.4), and APG (4.2). Which puts her as the top rebounder that the 3A Class has to offer so far this Winter with 211 in total. This team is sitting at around .500 and a major reason for that is the play of Kacmarynski. She just needs to keep building on what she has put in place the last two years and I’m sure these types of numbers will continue.

Pella Christian has a future collegiate player in Rachel Kacmarynski Rachel Kacmarynski 5'10" | CG Pella Christian | 2027 State IA if she stays on her current trajectory. Kacmarynski, a 5’10 CG, has that mixture of length, guard like ability, and knowledge of the game that every coach loves to coach at a young age. She is only her in sophomore season and she looks like she would be a viable option for most teams throughout the state already. Against the Warhawks, she registered a team high 14 points (5-17), 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals, and 2 block’s – making her impact in every which way you could think of. She was someone that was looked to for production on both sides of the ball and she gave that her best effort in that endeavor.

Pella Christian hosts Colfax-Mingo High School on Saturday evening in attempts to move onto the next Round of Playoffs at the 2A level. PC’s main producer for 1.5 years now and their leader once again this season has been CG – Rachel Kacmarynski Rachel Kacmarynski 5'10" | CG Pella Christian | 2027 State IA . Kacmarynski is listed as a CG because of the fact that she can move between the 1 and the 2 at Will. When looking at their entire roster and strategy, Kacmarynski is their main producer in more ways than one. She can handle the ball, get to the bucket with ease, and she can help out the others around her with her facilitating ability. These three abilities really help her thrive. That’s been the case throughout her high school career so far and I don’t think that will change up this evening.

Rachel Kacmarynski Rachel Kacmarynski 5'10" | CG Pella Christian | 2027 State IA of Pella Christian has proven over the past year that she is the real deal as it pertains to a solid prospect at the 2A Class level. Kacmarynski does a little bit of everything. She is a natural rebounder with her size at 5’10 at the Combo Guard position but she is also someone that can hold her own in the scoring department as well from the looks of it. In every contest she seems to compete in, she shows up as a high end producer and that says a lot for someone out of the 2027 Class at this point in the game. As a Freshman she averaged 10.9 PPG and 10.9 RPG, which is noteworthy because it was one of the better overall stat lines by a prospect out of the 2027 Class throughout the state, no matter the Class or age level.
