Rae the senior guard of the group has been in big games and knows how to handle the pressure. She shoots the ball well when open and stays within the flow of the game. Rae is also unselfish and willing to create for others when the defense collapses which will get everyone good looks.

Rae has taken her game to another level after a strong season last year. She’s become more confident in her offense showing an understanding of when to attack and when to distribute. She knocks down open shots makes reads under pressure. Defensively, she remains active and engaged, often creating opportunities for her team through her energy and anticipation.

Leaving Coronado an inch of space leaves defenses doomed, as she’s a proven sharpshooter. A high-energy hooper, Coronado thrives on maintaining a positive outlook regardless of the scoreboard, which can’t be coached. Attentive and active on defense, Coronado always has her hands in between passing lanes, anticipating steals.

Rae applied pressure from the backcourt, turning defense into easy offense with smart reads. She’s a willing defender who picks up full court and never lets up. In the half court, she gave her team steady production and strong decision-making.

Helping lead the Gators to one of their best seasons in a few years, Coronado is an all around great guard. Her handles are very good and allow her to help break presses and manage the ball through traffic. Her control with the ball gives her another boost as she is a good slasher, she is exceelent at getting to the paint with her drives where she can finish strong for her own buckets but also make some great passes, avergaing almost 4 assists per game. Rae has range. Her jumper is smooth and she can hit from mid-range and step behind the arch with ease. On defense, Coronado is all over the court. She is long for a guard and uses her length to get in the passing lanes and helpside for steals, giving her team 3 plus per game. Look for Coronado to continue to make the high energy plays for Standley Lake in the coming years.

As the point guard, Rae set the tone by pushing the pace in transition and finding teammates for easy scoring opportunities. Whether it was behind the arc or at the rim. She also contributed to the offense by knocking down open shots, making her a threat as a playmaker and a scorer. Her to get by defenders and put pressure on the defense changed the game.
