Bryant is another of the 2029s that is playing up in class for Palmetto 76ers/A’ja Wilson Elite 16U. She put together a stellar freshman campaign for a 4A Wren team that will return to play as a 3A participant when the 2026-27 season tips off. Bryant averaged 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.4 assists and three steals per game. One may automatically think Bryant is a three or even a four when considering her 5-foot-11 stature, but she thrives in the backcourt. One reason for this is her ability to knock down her attempts from long range. Bryant first played at the varsity level when she was a seventh grader.

Assemian is not the only notable name from last season’s 3A Powdersville team in search of greener pastures with another school. Instead of wearing Patriots red, white and blue this coming season, Bryant will be in blue and gold threads at 4A Wren. She departs from a team that finished 20-8 and heads to one that concluded last season at 18-10. Bryant possesses more experience than most freshmen given she already has played a pair of varsity seasons. She will be a huge lift for the Hurricanes following a 2024-25 where she averaged 15.6 points, 4.8 assists, 3.8 rebounds and three steals for the Patriots.
