About RaeLee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style mostly contains of post moves that I have gained over time, mid-range shots, and occasionally some three's. I also take pride in the way that I play defense, as I believe that defense is a very important part of the game, if not the most important.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to have confidence and always tell myself I can. I believe that if I don't have a good mentality I won't be any help to my teammates in winning or being a confident team all together. I believe that confidence is very important and that confidence is a huge part of the game, because the mental battles can get tough so to have a good mentality is very important in my opinion.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been a WEB leader at my school, which is a reward given for being a responsible, hard working student. This award is given and having this award you help the incoming middle schoolers, create organizations for school, and help with multiple elementary student activities.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Some skills and qualities I have developed over time is leadership and teamwork. I believe that speaking up as a leader and trying my best to help my team is very important. I also believe that teamwork is a big part of the game and life in general, as you can't get very far without teamwork in basketball and a lot of things in life require teamwork. I have done some community service as well.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced the challenge of having to grow into my body and work harder than others because my coordination didn't come naturally.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a good education opportunity for me but also that has a basketball team with good team chemistry and also a coach that really cares about their players. I want a coach that cares because I want someone who can help me get better and that can lead me and my teammates to wins.
