has been a big contributor to Manchester over the past few years, but this year, with the departure of Mia Woolfolk, she has fully taken the role as this team’s number 1. Rayne is an elite two-way player who is as versatile as anyone defensively. Rayne plays either guard position and can even kick out to wing with her size. Rayne was everywhere defensively against Gainesville, and she had a solid day offensively. She had 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks.

Arguably one of the most versatile players in the 2025 class! Rayne can play all perimeter positions on the floor, she looks to project to play the shooting guard/ wing on the next level. Coming off a season where she was the key piece of a state championship team including taking down a stacked Thomas Dale team twice! Her high school team will be one of the favorites to repeat, she will be staying home and is heading to the University of Richmond!

is versatile on both ends of the floor, and she is one of the best two-way guards in the state. Rayne can guard wings and guards, and down the stretch of Manchester’s state championship-winning campaign, Rayne locked down many opposing players. Rayne’s length and athleticism are huge reasons she is an elite defender. She is one of the best on-ball defenders on this list and will be a great defender at the next level.

is not the kind of player who needs to knock down a bunch of shots to make her presence felt in a game. But her ability to knock down threes is part of what makes her one of the best guards in the state. Rayne moves well without the ball and does excellent as a spot-up shooter. She doesn’t allow teams to force her into tough shots from three, and when they run her off the line, she is comfortable hitting a mid-range or getting to the rim.

The do it all athletic guard who had an amazing year for Manchester that led to a state championship title! Very versatile, she played the combo guard and point forward during the season. She was the second-leading scorer on the team and in my opinion was the best defender on the team and had to play the defensive stopper on some elite perimeter talent this season. Rayne doesn’t need stats to define her game. I can’t wait to see her on the EYBL circuit this AAU season!

One of the key pieces of a state championship run last season. Made the switch to play with Lady Strong this past AAU season! Very versatile player that can fluently play all three back court positions! As the lead guard, she is an excellent facilitator who reads the defense and scans the floor well. Athletic player with length with a high basketball IQ that defend anywhere on the floor.

Rayne Wright knocked down her shot from deep on multiple occasions sliding to the opening around the arc and shooting off the pass. She did a nice job handling the ball under pressure being able to create her own space. She’s quick with the ball getting by her defender, and she can lose them as she releases up the court for fast breaks.
