Ludington stoodout not only for her stellar play over the course of two days, but because of her vocal leadership comping from the point guard position. According to MaxPreps, Reagan was the team’s leader in assists last season which is easy to believe watching her direct traffic with the basketball while calling out and then executing sets called from the sideline. Ludington was sneaky quick and skilled with the basketball getting past the initial defender and into the heart of the defense where she scored and found open teammates. Crafty would be the one word I would use to best describe her game. She was very good rebounding the ball for her size on a team with not a lot of it and defensively she not only contained her assignment, but was a very reliable help side teammate. When Pickens created steals or when she got a long rebound, Reagan did a job making decisions and showing patience in transition.

Ludington was a real bright spot in the game for Pickens. She handled the ball well, showing some flash with crossovers and going behind her back. She got the ball where it needed to go for most part all game long. She was able to escape a lot of the trapping that GAC was using on defense, not only with her handle but good vision and strong passes. She was relentless pushing the ball when she had it on the fast break and was able to create some easy buckets for herself and teammates.

Ludington isn’t a big scoring threat but she does a great job handling the ball and seeing the floor. She’s a sharp passer who keeps the ball moving side to side as the Nettes work for open threes or Ellison Steinhauer Ellison Steinhauer 5'10" | CG Pickens | 2026 State GA isolations. Ludington had 2 rebounds and 4 assists against Clarke Central before tallying 3 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in a 48-39 loss to Lanier, sinking a pull-up jumper in the process.

The point guard got to the foul line against Lamar County, shooting 5-8. Reagan finished with 7 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Ludington is a key piece for the Nettes. She’s quick with the ball and more importantly, will be asked to produce offense whether via the three-ball of off the dribble as a playmaker.
