About Rebecca
Expert Analysis
Ragan Neblett | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Maes has all the pieces, including the gas tank to go all game. A CG that controls the ball and the momentum. She has great court vision and game IQ to get her team into offensive sets and find the right spots for her teammates to get points. She also knows the right game moments to take the ball, strong to the hoop for her own points. She can get to the basket, or hit jumpers for her own buckets. On the defensive end, the gas tank makes her a probem for the offense. She is in traps in full court pressure, she can also get steals in the half court. Rebecca isn’t afriad to battle bigger post players in the paint in helpside, making her a solid defensive anchor for her team. The summer months will be exciting and producitve for this guard.

Rebecca proved to be a reliable scoring option throughout the camp. She plays unselfishly, frequently penetrating the defense to create open shots for her teammates. Rebecca’s ability to get into the paint keeps the defense on their toes, leading to easy buckets for herself or her teammates. Her balanced play makes her a crucial asset to any team looking for a steady and team-first approach.

could be a major X-factor for Windsor this season. Coming off a major ACL injury a few years ago, this could finally be the season where it all comes together. Becca is a quality 3 point shooter that will help Windsor stretch the floor and create space around the rim for 1st team all-conference teammate,

. Although slight in stature Becca is a legit competitor that is on the upswing in the Windsor program. I expect her to challenge for rotational minutes on a consistent basis.

Maes has shown value as a versatile scorer around the paint, comfortable creating shot attempts in tight space. Effective getting to floaters in traffic, she possesses soft touch while getting to looks with the right hand. Capable of seeking out contact in the paint, her ability to slow down in a hurry helps defenders out of control, often fouling her at the rim. Another area of value is her alert passing to rollers and cutters, adept hitting them in tight space. Playing within a very deep roster at Windsor, Maes will be an intriguing complementary playmaker for that group in June.
