Remmi’s relentless effort and playmaking presence on both ends earned her recognition as a Top Performer at the Freshman Showcase. She poked the ball away from behind and was constantly diving on the floor to secure 50/50 balls–nobody was going to outwork her on the court. Remmi swiped the ball away, took it coast-to-coast in top gear, and forced a foul. She was an active rebounder and immediately looked to push in transition. Remmi handled the ball confidently with both hands, eyes up, and threw strong passes to open teammates. She closed out hard to deflect the ball away from a shooter and drained a triple up top. Remmi used a variety of dribble moves to penetrate gaps and made unselfish passes for assists.
