Her sharp instincts and active hands on the defensive end created steals that quickly turned into fast break scoring opportunities. She sees the floor well, makes the right plays, fires crisp passes to open teammates, and made an impressive wrap-around pass in the paint to create a wide-open look. Calley showed her outside range by sinking a smooth corner three and handled the ball comfortably with both hands. She’s a skilled point guard who impacts the game in multiple categories.

Calley is a freshman with a bright future ahead of her in the Parma Western program. Her dribble penetration, pesky defense, passing vision, rebounding effort, and finishing were key components to the Regional Semifinal win. She weaved through the defense with a burst to score two left-handed finishes. Calley ran through a pass to beat the defender closing out and dropped in a soft floater. She attacked downhill and scored two more layups with her off hand. Calley’s hard drives resulted in trips to the charity stripe, and she knocked them down with confidence. Calley poured in nine points for Parma Western and will have an important role to play in the next game.
