will return this Winter as a junior with LCC High School and she is going to be looking to build on the past two seasons. Rasmussen is a standout Volleyball prospect, while being a producer on both ends of the floor as it pertains to the sport of Basketball as well. Last Winter, Rasmussen averaged just under 20 PPG and 10 RPG in her efforts. She averaged just enough to sit with a double-double throughout her team’s 24 games and that’s noteworthy. I’m hoping we see more of that over the next two years. She has the physicality, athleticism, and smarts – now it’s all about building on the foundation that she put together in years past.

and the product that she has competed with over the years. The honest truth is that I would really like to see more of her before I make any specific claims about her play-style. From the numbers stand point, this is someone that puts up production at the SF position for her LCC High School program. Her natural height at 5’10, combined with her knowledge of where to rebound the ball off of a missed shot is next level and it helps her hold her own in a lot of ways. I’m hoping this Winter that I can be in the building to see Rasmussen and her LCC team do their thing.

may be the biggest question mark I have out of this Class in Nebraska. What I mean by that is, she put up some insane numbers as a Freshman. She was a leader in the state in scoring and rebounding, no matter her age and that is impressive. My question lies in her competition level. Due to no fault of her own, it seems like she is competing against some smaller schools while putting up these numbers so if she can show everyone that she can do the same against some elite competition, than we are easily talking about a Top 5-10 prospect out of this 2027 Class. I’l be keeping a close eye on this one moving forward in that regard and I can’t wait to see how she does in the long run.

of Laurel-Concord-Coleridge has displayed a great feel and knowledge for the game of basketball every time that I have seen her take the floor and because of that, she put together a Freshman season to remember. Rasmussen stands at only 5’8 but she plays the Small Forward position for her High School squad. Even though she was a high end producer in the Scoring category this winter, her best ability is Rebounding the ball. More times than not, she finds herself in the middle of the lane, looking for an opportunity to attack with the back to her basket or off of rebounds she may grab when a missed shot occurs. This Spring is going to be a really important one for Rasmussen. If she competes with a competitive program and puts up more good numbers, while showing that she can extend the floor outside the three point line, then she is going to be in the conversation for the being a Top Five Player/ The Top Player out of this 2027 Class.
