is emerging as a steady two-way contributor. Averaging 8 points and 6 rebounds per game, she gives the Hornets consistent production on both ends of the floor. Beyond the basketball court, James has shown that she is excellent thrower in track and field, using her strength in shotput and discus, and it is no suprrise she is a force to be reckoned with in volleyball, and that multisport background sharpens the power, timing, and competitiveness that fuel her rebounding, defense, and scoring. With her blend of strength and versatility, she’s quickly becoming a key piece for Dighton moving forward.

brought a toughness and physical edge to the floor this summer while playing club basketball for Magic. One of the strongest athletes I watched, she is the kind of player you simply can’t push around. Her physical presence in the paint is undeniable—she battles on the boards with purpose and isn’t afraid to mix it up in traffic. She fights to secure tough rebounds and dives for 50/50 balls, she plays with a relentless motor that energizes her team. She can set the tone with her effort and toughness, and her willingness to do the dirty work makes her a vital piece on any roster. Her strength and grit stood out all summer, and she’s building a reputation as a physical force to be reckoned with.

With the Magic team being left shorthanded after injuries, Rielly had to play as a big for her team this weekend. Her game goes well beyond the paint, though. She combines strength and aggression with impressive ball-handling skills for her size. This makes her a tough matchup for most defenders. Rielly brings a physical, fearless presence to the floor, along with skill that makes her more than just a typical big. Her strong finishes and solid ball-handling make her a versatile and valuable player on both ends of the court.

continued to show why she’s received well-deserved coverage having another strong performance at the Kansas Roots Summer Smash. She has a presence on the court that is undeniable—she plays with strength, aggression, and relentless effort. James battles for every rebound and loose ball, setting the tone with her tenacity. Beyond her hustle, she’s a capable scorer with solid ball-handling skills. In western Kansas, she stands out as one of the most physically dominant players I’ve had the chance to watch. Expect her to make noise throughout the rest of the summer and into her junior season.

Reilly James is a gritty, strong, high-IQ hooper who plays with a calm confidence and consistently makes the right reads. Her ball handling is clean, her vision is underrated, and she thrives in setting up teammates while also being capable of scoring in a number of ways. James doesn’t force the issue—she plays within the system, but when a big moment is needed, she’s not afraid to step up and take control.
