came into the final 4 with a lot of Final 4 experience and has been on both sides of the trophy ceremony. Thomas played her usual game in the finals, with a hand injury. Despite the heavily taped hand, she scored 13 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, and secured 4 steals. Her bread and butter is her defense- on the ball and passing lane awareness separate her from most guards. She is always on the move and has very active hands and quick feet. Thomas flourishes in transition, where her speed is noticeable. Thomas was impactful in the final four and found herself once again on the winning side of the trophy ceremony.

Ronneisha provided the Raiders with consistent scoring and energy, logging the full 32 minutes of action. She finished with 16 points on 7-for-11 shooting, showcasing her ability to attack the rim and finish efficiently in transition. Beyond the scoring, her high-motor reputation was on display through her defensive pressure and 3 assists, helping to fuel the Raiders’ 26-9 advantage in points off turnovers.

brought energy and toughness on both ends. She handled the ball, applied strong on-ball pressure defensively, and attacked the offensive glass from the guard position. Quick to the ball and relentless in pursuit, she converted inside off hustle plays and used her quickness to create second-chance opportunities. Thomas is a high-motor guard who impacts winning beyond the scoreboard

has been in the state championship game for the past two years with one state title under her belt. Thomas has played with a lot of offensive power and has always been a key contributor with her basketball IQ and her defensive tenacity. Thomas has quickness, speed and great lateral movement. She cuts off angles, steals the basketball, and stops an opponent from getting to the rim. She also plays great in space, clogging up the passing lane. Just like the past two years, she will be a defensive force in the district and State playoffs.

is one of the top defenders in the State. Her on-ball skills athleticism, and the physicality she plays with are elite. She applies relentless pressure on the opposition, disrupts their flow and causes turnovers. Thomas has the energy to run all night and she is always defending the toughest player on the opposing team – 94 feet. This effort inspires her teammates and has a huge impact on the game. Thomas is so competitive and she had the endurance to maintain this intensity from the beginning of the game to the end.

has been on my radar since she was a Freshman at Daytona Mainland. As a Freshman and Sophomore, she was always that selfless player who played lockdown defense and could handle the ball against the press and against good defenders. Wow, Thomas still has those skills, but they have been elevated to a different level. Thomas is fast and extremely athletic and can cut off a player’s path to the rim. She was able to stay in front of some elite players and force them to counter their initial move. She played a great game against

, and it made for a great matchup. Thomas plays the passing lanes, she gets to loose balls, and she can rebound from the guard position. Offensively, she was a threat to score from any level, but she was at her best when attacking the rim and getting out and running in transition.

has always been a player that stood out for the little things she does on a basketball court. She is athletic and has great speed. I saw her at the Inside Exposure and she was a player who was always on the floor. She had a nose for the ball and she was always there to help with the press break, using her speed and basketball IQ. She didn’t run the point, but she was always the player helping her fellow guards get out of trouble. On defense, she had the speed to cut off angles and drives and force the guard to give up the ball. Thomas was instrumental in helping her team reach the State Finals for consecutive years. She is the player with the quick hands who deflects a pass in the passing lane and the ball winds up in a teammates hand who gets credit for the steal. Her impact cannot be measured by stats, but as a testament to her importance- she is always on the floor in crucial moments making good decisions and keeping the pressure on the opposition, and making plays that don’t show up in the stat sheet.
