Ryanne has done nothing but win her entire high school career and this year will be no different. A 3 year varsity starter with 2 state titles, Bahnsen-Price, is already committed to take her talents to sunny San Diego next year. Versatile is the best word that comes to mind when describing Ryanne as a basketball player. She has an uncanny ability to take advantage of whatever defenses throw at her – Slicing by bigger defenders to the rim with a lightning quick first step, posting up smaller guards, or simply knocking down jump shots. being one of the players leading the charge. Ryanne’s game has taken some huge strides over the past two years, whether it’s being a top scoring option or sitting back and letting the game come to her. With that being said she has been able to turn more of her focus to the defensive end of the floor, using her length to get into passing lanes and get deflections.

Taking a greater volume of three point attempts this season, Bahnsen-Price is a difficult matchup given her height advantage. Effective scoring over closeouts from quick jumpers off the catch, the guard brings plenty of value off the catch from all areas of the floor. Her long strides allow her to get out early on fast breaks or hastily advance into lane for finishes. This is all on top of her defensive value, effectively switching onto a wide variety of positions, quick on the perimeter or along interior rotations.

The few games I was able to watch in person of Roosevelt, the team was controlled by the play of Ryanne. She put the ball in the basket when they needed it, and she was always willing to defend the opposing team best player.
