The eastern Oklahoma standout runs with a teams full of snipers and in their opening victory Nelke connected six times form deep. And it’s not because she’s a volume chucker, she’s a floor spacing threat who runs to her spots and gets hers in the flow off the offense. Even making the right passes to pass up good looks to get her teammates great looks. The Roland Lady Ranger is one of the higher floor college prospects in Oklahoma because of her shooting, outstanding size and great understanding of her role.

Arguably the best pure shooter in the Class of 2027. Especially when factoring in her ability to hit form 25+ plus feet. Often does her best work as a spot up threat and movement shooter. But does have some capabilities to hit from distance. Ideal size and good functional athleticism makes her a no brainer future collegiate producer.

Nelke is a pure shooter. Multiple times she connected from nearly the Ranger logos on the court. She pulled once in transition, while the other times she made it look easy as a catch and shoot weapon. Impactful defender too, with long arms and speed to force steals and then race away for easy scores. Movement shooter, with a clear path to quick impact at the next level as a “3 and D” guard.

Simply a weapon from beyond the arc, Nelke must be accounted for. Which opens up spacing for her teammates. And if she’s left unaccounted, she can change games with multiple makes. Her shooting has led to wins for Roland, with back to back Class 3A State Tournament appearances. While she spent her spring and summer as part of a loaded AAO Flight team, excelling in a role that would be similar to her collegiate future.

Nelke has prototypical size for an off the ball shooting specialist. And the shooting ability to fit the role to a T. Which, she does on a loaded AAO Flight 16U team that is filled with future high level college basketball players. Nelke must be accounted for along the perimeter, as she’s always ready to shoot. Along with impressing in AAU play, she’s helped Roland to two straight State Tournament appearances. And picked up NOAA Conference MVP honors. NSU offered this spring, and it should be the first of many offers.

On Saturday Nelke proved why she’s one of the top shooters in Oklahoma. Nelke is always ready to shoot, and moves well to open space to make herself available. From smart cuts to the rim, to finding the open spots along the three point line. While many of her threes were clean makes, she even got the shooter’s roll on one make. More proof to how cleanly she shoots the ball from distance. Which with her shooting and height, it’s no surprise NSU recently offered.

The elite shooter is putting up big numbers out in eastern Oklahoma for the Lady Rangers. She makes corner threes look like layups, and must be accounted every time she crosses halfcourt. Hit 7 three pointers in a win over Stigler. Put 22 points on top 10 Class 2A Howe with 5 three pointers. Has next level size, with ideal long limbs to go along with her textbook shooting. Nelke and company reached the Big House last year, but will be looking to extend their stay after a quarterfinals exit in Class 3A.

One of the main notes that I emphasized to myself so that I’d remember Ryanne when I got home was her hands. She’s got the hands of an NFL wide receiver when she’s down in the paint. It didn’t matter what angle the pass came from or how hard it came into her, she grabbed everything. Once she had secured the ball, she had a plethora of moves to throw her defender off balance and finish with either hand. Oh yeah, she’s also a six-footer who can step out and hit the three. Just a tremendous all-around player. Ryanne is already looking like she could be well on her way to playing Division-I basketball in four years.
