Rylie Fugate Rylie Fugate 5'6" | CG Martensdale-St Marys | 2027 State IA competed with an aggressive edge this Winter for her Junior season and that was nice to see out of someone who has college level potential in her future. Fugate did everything she could this Winter without forcing any unneeded action. Offensively, she shot the ball well off the catch, she got to her spots for open looks off the dribble, she finished at the bucket with defenders around her, and she was selfless enough to hit her open teammates when those situations would unfold off of her creation into the teeth of the defense. Defensively, she held her own and matched up pretty well with whoever was placed in front of her. AAU ball is so much different than high school in Iowa but I think Fugate is ready to put together a successful Spring campaign this season. As long as she can speed up with the game like everyone else, she should be someone we hear about more and more as the AAU season goes on.
