About Sadie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Very fast paced player with high-level court vision and dribbling. A small guard with strong finishes at the goal but also the ability to see the open player and kick the ball out for perimeter shots. Strong and quick defender.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a slow burn type of person who can come off as quiet but am very confident and focused on the floor. I shake of mistakes quickly and don't let much get to me in game play.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Beta Club, Leadership club. Received Citizenship and All Academic Honors Award (All A's for 3 years of middle school) for Middle School (8th grade year).

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a 3 sport athlete and that has taught me a lot of things. Time management being a big one. I am an honor student and kept a 4.0 average in my Freshman year while playing 3 varsity sports (softball, soccer and basketball). It has also taught me how to work in a team. I am learning to find my voice as a team leader and push others in practice and in games.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge I have faced in the last year was a freshman coming into high school started in 3 varsity sports. That caused friction with current older players and also my peers. It was a tough year navigating a new level of school while also dealing with new and changing relationships. I feel I came out stronger and it also left an impression on how I will deal with new players.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to any college experience.
