Sadie picked a really good day to have a really good day scoring the basketball at the showcase. She started out scoring here and there in the first game, but by the end of the event I knew exactly who she was and came away very impressed. Spurlock shot the ball very well from behind the three point line and the midrange, while also showing nifty feet and very good finishing ability attacking the basket off the dribble. Sadie has a sold base of fundamentals and she used her shot and pass fakes well to keep defenders off balance. When she got to the rim off the bounce, she did a nice job evading defenders with side steps and Euros steps. Big stock riser!

Exhibited true hustle and a knack for getting to the basket; scoop layups, floaters and baseline drives. Her commitment to defense sparked the fast break; quick defense to offense conversion. Very scrappy in the half-court; really good anticipation. She pushed the pace and proved that the quicker the tempo, the more she thrived. An energetic, high octane player like Sadie can be deflating for the opponent.
