Garner is a savvy scorer, especially when driving to the bucket. She has good first-step speed when initiating drives, which often lets her get past her defender. When attacking the basket, Garner is able to make touch floaters consistently. Those shots give her a gateway to be more successful on drives than the normal high school guard.

Garner can also catch a heater in shooting from distance in games. Last season she had multiple games with four or more makes from distance. This included a game against LaVergne High School where she made six 3-pointers.

Offensively, she can score from multiple spots on the floor and facilitate the rock to the hot hand. Speedy ballplayer who prides herself on the defensive end. Sure, she can attack the paint and finish, knock down the three-ball, but her bread and butter is on the defensive end. She is a menace on that front, where she gets steals and deflections in volume. She is a smart ballplayer who is a tough competitor. Her speed is an asse,t and her ability to create chaos and confusion is solid. Keep tabs on this young lady as she continues to grow.

She is incredibly smart with the basketball. She continues to be a natural leader who passes the ball better than most her age. This kid controls the pace of the game well. Can handle the rock. A heady ball player who sees the floor well. She can get a bucket whenever and wherever on the floor. This kid is smart, an extension of the coaching staff, she recognizes a weakness in the defense and exploits it. She’s a plus plus defender who locks up on the defensive end. Can pick up full or in the half court, either way she gives the opposition fits. Great kid who has yet reached her ceiling.
