One of the top seniors in the state, Sheaffer went all out with 27 points including a 15 point third quarter. Which led the Bruins to a win over Broken Arrow and the first trip to state for the Lady Bruins since 2018. And only their 5th all time. Her third point outburst saw the skill scorer often attack the rim and finish through contact. Building a huge lead for her squad. They then held onto the fourth against a furious BA comeback attempt. Sheaffer and her scrappy Bartlesville teammates will look to keep their magical run going when they square off against a stingy Mustang defense at noon on Wednesday at the Lloyd Noble Center.

The UCA signee is a battler for the Lady Bruins. Carries the scoring load while also making defensive plays all over the court. Does a good job of fronting and denying post entry passes, along with other deflections in the halfcourt. Even forced some backcourt turnovers with “I’m her” moments. Those moments included her an awesome contested floater she hit to end the third quarter. Also knocked down shots from three. Did it all to keep the Bruins in the fight throughout the contest.

The Central Arkansas signee is an all around bucket. And she has textbook form from three, which allows her to be a weapon as a spot up shooter. Or off the dribble from deep. Already a 1,000 point scorer, she’s sure to torch the nets as a senior. Then her shooting ability should give her a chance to earn early playing time.

While there will be likely near a dozen Oklahoma Class of 2026 prospects who will sign “D1” out of high school, there wasn’t one officially on the board. That changed recently as Sheaffer announced her committed to Central Arkansas. The Sugar Bears are getting one of the top scorers in Oklahoma. With a translatable skillset to the next level, expect Sheaffer to light up the scoreboard this winter. Before heading east to Conway, Arkansas.

The northern Oklahoma scoring machine made the jump up to Class 6A by joining Bartlesville. And the increase in competition didn’t slow her down one bit. She cleared 1,000 career points this season, routinely scoring 20+ points. While also stuffing the statsheet with rebounds, steals and more, as she had to do it all for the Lady Bruins. Sheaffer has a smooth off the dribble game. Capable of pulling up in the mid-range, or scoring amongst the trees when she gets to the rim.

Sheaffer is a complete scorer, who gave it her all on both ends of the court for her feisty Lady Bruins squad. Dug down low and held her own in some match ups against Locust Gove’s tall size on defense. Then would push the tempo or do damage in the halfcourt with a silky mid-range and three point shooter. A gamer, who finds ways to produce.

Do it all scoring guard, who can live in the mid-range or pressure the rim with a smooth scoring style. Great fundamentals on rip throughs and other drives. She often attacks with the purpose to score but plays with her head up. And she makes the right reads, that benefit her teammates. Add in some competitive rebounding moments and flashes on defense, and it’s hard to poke a hole in this talented junior’s game.

The new 2026 rankings came out last week and Sami once again makes an appearance in the top-10. In case PGH needed to be reminded, or she was making a case to be higher up next time around, Sami had 22 to lead all scorers and did it in a variety of ways. For most of the game, when the Flame needed a bucket, it was Sami bringing the ball up court. She uses her smooth handles to weave her way to the basket, often picking up the “and-1” in the process. She has a beautiful, easy shot from long range. She also didn’t miss a free throw all night, going 6-for-6 from the line. Defensively, Sami swatted shots all over the place on top of forcing several turnovers with her on-ball defense. Her length, quickness, and extremely high basketball IQ are a deadly combination for opponents.

is a 5’10” shooting guard known for her length, handles and great shooting ability. She is able to attack the basket and finish in the lane. Her versatility allows her to play multiple positions and her ability to shoot at a high level makes her a valuable asset on the court. Schafer’s size and skill set can give matchup problems for the opposing teams.
