Sammie Allen Sammie Allen 5'8" | SG Crofton | 2025 State NE comes into this Rankings Update as one of the most sound Shooting Guards within the 2025 Class in Nebraska. Allen has a smart head on her shoulders, a nice shooting ability from any angle on the floor, and some confidence in her game. More times than not, Allen is making moves first and asking questions later. She is always one of the first players down the floor in transition, looking to spot up in an open area. If not, she does a great job of getting out of the way and letting the play unfold in front of herself. Defensively, she is just as good. She isn’t a liability and she understands her assignments. As a coach, you can’t ask for much more than that. She isn’t going to hurt you on either side of the ball, while usually being a positive more times than not. Going into this AAU season, I’m hoping Allen can put together another impressive campaign. If she can do that and she comes into next winter with a chip on her shoulder, the sky could be the limit for herself at the end of the day but we will just have to wait and see.

Allen, a 5’8 shooting guard, was a major contributor last winter and this season she has picked up on the same note. She is making plays, scoring buckets on buckets, and leading everyone by example. This Crofton team is currently sitting at 8-0 and it doesn’t seem like they are going to slow down anytime soon. This is a group that plays fast, free, and for each other. As long as they trust in that, each contest they compete in, they are going to find themselves back at the State tournament before this season ends.
