The junior was a tough battler against a huge Legion Prep team. Knows how to use her size as leverage to position for scores and rebounds, even against taller foes. Stepped outside as a capable shooter, making her a stretch forward. It was a tough test to start her junior year. But was the type of battle that will pay off down the road as the Lady Eagles look for another 5A State Tournament appearance.

Newcomer to Del City and already making a big impact. Teams with senior Thornton to patrol the interior and own the glass for the Lady Eagles. She’s strong and quick, with an “that’s my ball” mentality for rebounds, steals and blocks. Good blend of power and soft touch on offense around the rim. Eagles are 17-4 on the year and undefeated against fellow Class 5A competition. Bonds’ emergence is a big reason whu.

Gritty forward prospect who came away with All Tournament honors for the third place Lady Eagles. She’s a tough finisher around the rim, with a good blend of strength and touch. Fights for rebounds as well. Even forced a turnover when switched out onto a guard. Appears to be a high motor player who simply produces.
