Savannah Bookout Savannah Bookout 6'3" | C State AL is a long, athletic post with intriguing upside on both ends. She finishes well around the basket, using her length to score efficiently inside. Bookout rebounds at a high level, securing possessions with strong positioning. Defensively, she protects the rim by blocking and altering shots. Her mobility and length make her a presence in the paint. With continued development, she has the tools to be a high-impact interior player.

At 6-foot-3, Bookout is the tallest player on this year’s Alabama Elite 17U roster. While her team may have started this year’s Roll Tide Rumble in the loss column against White Tigers Elite 17U, Bookout provided a formidable presence in the interior. She also did plenty of the same for a 3A Whitesburg Christian team that concluded its 2025-26 season with a solid record of 19-4 – plus winning eight of its nine region contests. Her tall stature enables her to corral plenty of rebounds and win plenty of battles on the boards. Bookout is an efficient screen setter and understands how to receive passes to finish plays at the basket. 

Savannah is an incredibly versatile player who may line up at center, but her skill set goes far beyond the typical expectations for the position. She can truly do it all—whether it’s scoring, passing, or setting up plays, she impacts the game in every area. What makes her stand out is her exceptional vision and passing ability; she sees the floor like a guard and finds open teammates with precision, making her a key playmaker even from the post. Her footwork is smooth and controlled, allowing her to create high-percentage shots with patience and poise. Savannah also has a great understanding of positioning, constantly working to get herself open and make herself available as a scoring option. Her all-around game makes her a matchup nightmare and an invaluable asset to her team on both ends of the floor.

Savannah is an absolute unit in the paint, anchoring both ends of the floor with her physicality and presence. Defensively, she makes it incredibly difficult for opponents to finish around the rim, using her strength, size, and positioning to shut down drives and contest every shot in her area. On offense, Savannah is just as dominant—she battles for deep post position, finishes through contact, and consistently draws fouls, earning trips to the free throw line where she capitalizes on her opportunities. Her toughness and interior dominance set the tone for her team, making her a force to be reckoned with inside the paint.
