Swanson repeatedly found success setting up post scorers, setting up her teammates for success. A smooth ball handler who can change speeds with ease, she is a quick decision maker who makes the other four Arvada West players’ lives a lot easier. Alongside her willingness as a facilitator, she remains a capable shooter from distance, either off the catch or from the pull-up when given space. Arvada West brings in a well rounded group, with skill at every position.

Swanson looks ready for a high usage role this season, kicking off the season especially efficient from the floor. Through her first two games, Swanson has posted 19.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.5 steals while going 7 for 12 on threes. She showed three level scoring upside last season, although this year she has full opportunities to show her skills. Not to mention that her production has led to winning basketball, setting up Arvada West for success, going 2-0. With her current production, Swanson is setting herself up for a major rise down the line.

A skilled lead guard, Swanson can get to quick trigger pull-up threes or take it to the rim for an extend arm finish. Swanson’s confidence handling the ball has opened up scoring potential, allowing her to be a scoring threat from anywhere. Given the gravity that Swanson draws, the guard has plenty of opportunities as a facilitator, drawing aggressive help leading to extra space for shooters. The junior guard will be one of the more exciting to watch backcourt prospects in the 2025 class, keep tabs.
