About Scarlette

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a center, I’m a strong team player who communicates on defense, sets solid screens, & creates opportunities for teammates. I take pride in protecting the paint, contesting shots, & rebounding on both ends. Offensively, I’m a confident shooter who finishes through contact, draws fouls, & hits free throws. I’m also a quick learner who applies coaching feedback to improve positioning and footwork.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I bring a quiet confidence to the court and lead through my actions and consistency. I stay composed during high-pressure moments and don’t get easily frustrated, which helps me stay focused and reliable for my team. I’m very observant and always learning from coaches and teammates, while still being confident enough to communicate and share my perspective when it matters.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am actively involved in my school’s student council, where we discuss issues affecting the school community & work together to develop practical solutions. I also participate in Rise to Lead, an organization that provides opportunities to learn from women leaders throughout my city. These experiences have helped me strengthen my leadership skills and collaborate with others.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills through basketball. I lead by example, stay composed under pressure, and support my teammates by creating scoring opportunities while maintaining positive energy. I’m also a quick learner who takes coaching feedback and uses it to improve my positioning, decision-making, and overall game.
